My Monkey Boy - SOOC

This was a funky angle I shot of my little man at the park last week. It’s a bit busy but I still really liked the angle. I decided it was a good image to play around with a bit. So first I just adjusted the contrast level like this -

That made the photo look really nice and I really think I could’ve stopped there. I decided to give an old favorite Lightroom preset Antique Fade to see how that would go -

I like the soft focus this preset has. Then I decided to take it a step farther, maybe too far but sometimes actions are just really fun to play with. Like this -

The only other adjustment I made after applying a few actions from the Itty Bitty Actions set was to do a small crop on the right hand side where the wood play area was really over exposed. I’m not sure which is really my favorite, I just play around until something strikes me or sometimes no real adjustments are even needed.
